ArborHub prices tree work in Texas from a photo. You upload one picture, it estimates the tree, and it returns a removal, trimming, stump grinding or emergency range for your city. It is free and it needs no account.
I built it because the alternative is worse. Quotes for the same tree swing by thousands of dollars, most online cost guides are affiliate pages recycling one national average, and almost none of them show how they got the number. ArborHub publishes the base table, the city multiplier and the review date on every page. When a range is wrong you can see which input was wrong.
I am Sam French. I build software and publish pricing data. I am not an arborist, and ArborHub does not do tree work. The estimator is code and the prices are a model, so both are on the site where you can check them: the method and the dataset.
How ArborHub is paid. When a Texas contractor takes a job that came through ArborHub, the contractor pays $50 per closed job. The first closed job is free. Contractors cannot pay to rank, to appear on a city page, or to change a range. There is no sponsored placement anywhere on this site.
The contractor who performs the job should show you a licence and insurance. Ask for both before work starts, and get the quote in writing.
One statewide base table per service, by tree size. One cost factor per city for labor, disposal and travel. Photograph a tree and the estimator assigns a size band, applies your city's factor, and returns a range. The full pipeline, the base table, all 30 city factors and the known failure modes are on the methodology page. The raw table is downloadable at /data.
If a permit rule, a species fact or a range is wrong, email sam@myarborhub.com with the page URL and the source. I fix the page and move its review date forward. The date on each page is the date its copy or numbers last changed.
Email sam@myarborhub.com. Mail: ArborHub, 12856 N Highway 183, Ste B #1415, Austin, TX 78750. That mailbox is a real suite, not a drop box, so post and legal notices arrive.
